...such are the properties of the correction spectacle lenses being produced in the "organic glass" of Makrolon^® LQ3147 in Europe for the first time by BNL Eurolens.
They are supplied in different diopters in the form of blanks (see photo) and then machined with special technologies to meet the individual correction specifications.

The outstanding advantage of correction lenses in Makrolon^® is their high fracture strength, which means they offer maximum safety. They are thus particularly suitable for children as well as for sportsmen and sportswomen. Lenses in Makrolon^® also only weigh half as much as lenses in glass, making then particularly comfortable to wear.

Compared with standard grades of Makrolon^®, the LQ grades offer even greater purity and light transmission. They also incorporate UV-protection which filters out most of the UV radiation harmful to the eye (up to 380 nm).
A scratch-resistant coating protects the surface against mechanical damage.

Additional functional coatings, such as antifog and antireflex or metallic coatings can be applied without any problems.
